Immunomethrics and histochemistry

Quantitative, standardized and reproducible analyses at the tissue and molecular level.

What do we do?

The immunometry facility boasts a range of cutting-edge equipment for performing molecular target assays with high sensitivity and reproducibility in various biological matrices: serum, plasma, synovial fluid, cell culture supernatant, cerebrospinal fluid, urine, tears, micro dialysis samples.

The laboratory is equipped with the ELLA platform, which makes it possible to perform both single-analyte and multi-analyte immunoassays without cross-reactivity in just one hour.

The WES (Simple Western systems) instrument allows automation of the western-blotting technique, separating proteins by capillary electrophoresis. Characterised by high reproducibility and sensitivity, it uses small sample amounts (typically 0.3-1.2 µg) and up to a maximum volume of 3 µL per capillary, allowing protein quantification even from exosome and organoid lysates within three hours.

The SPARK microplate reader measures both absorbance and fluorescence with extreme precision. The instrument is equipped with both a cuvette holder and NanoQuant PlateTM providing an all-in-one solution for ELISA assays, DNA and protein quantification. The microscope, together with the environmental control of temperature and CO2 and the injectors, enables experiments on long-term cell lines.
