Digital PCR platform with high accuracy, sensitivity and precision
The Applied Biosystems Quant Studio 3D Digital PCR System platform consists of 3 tools:
1) QuantStudio ™ 3D Digital PCR Chip Loader (to dispense the sample into the chip);
2) ProFlex ™ 2x Flat PCR System (a thermal cycler that allows simultaneous amplification of 24 independent samples each inside a chip);
3) QuantStudio ™ 3D Digital PCR Instrument (for chip acquisition and preliminary analyses) and the dedicated QuantStudio 3D Analysis Suite software.
The platform is applied in different areas of biomedical research, including the identification of the rare allele, the analysis of the copy number variation, the absolute quantification of Next Generation Sequencing libraries, the absolute quantification of nucleic acids as the reference standard for Realtime PCR, the identification of pathogens (viruses, bacteria and MOGM) and the quantification of the viral load.
