A modern technological equipment guarantees the maintenance of excellent standards and is one of the main indicators of quality of research and advanced diagnostics. For this reason, the Centre continuously invests in the acquisition of platforms and instruments in step with the technological evolution and progress of the medical-biological disciplines.

Acquisitions are possible thanks to own resources and to the involvement of different stakeholders (university departments, interdepartmental centers, start-ups) and the organization of aggregation events and communication and information tools on the opportunities that technologies, technical personnel and shared services generate for competitive research.

The process of professional updating of the staff, in step with the new acquisitions, is a highly qualifying and continuous activity that involves all the staff in a perspective of sharing also transversally to the specialist skills of each one.

Researchers use their own research funds to support research and provide reagents and specific materials to their projects, while the centre provides tools, common materials and collective and individual prevention and protection devices.

We train young researchers through dissemination events and seminars, as well as constant practical technical training.

We promote the activity of verifying the quality provided through the use of objective indicators for monitoring and controlling activities, in the awareness that through a systematic verification activity it is possible to raise the quality of the services provided over time.
