Endocrinology research group – dott.ssa Fanelli

Mass spectrometry division

Research fields

Development and validation of methods for the quantification of small molecules, such as hormones, lipids and metabolites, by liquid chromatography – tandem mass spectrometry. Application of methods to the analysis of human (mainly serum, plasma, dried blood spot and saliva), animal and in vitro samples from studies related to analytical comparison, reference interval generation, characterization of endocrine and non endocrine diseases.
