Mea Maxima Culpa is an adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's psychological thriller 'The Tell Tale Heart' starring John Byrne and Frank C. Turner. Directed by Eric Spoeth, Mea Maxima Culpa follows the descent into madness for the meticulous butler Manfred whose sole focus in life is the care and comfort of his Master. When perfectionism turns into obsession, Manfred pleads for understanding that he acts not out of madness, but through his most grievous fault. A story of redemption, and a warning to all, 'Mea Maxima Culpa' leads us into the depths of a troubled soul for whom madness is but 'over-acuteness of the senses'.
