The II Level Professional Master SPICES – Space missions science, design and applications, coordinated by Prof. Andrea Cimatti (University of Bologna), is now open for applications for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The programme provides interdisciplinary training on the design, implementation, and scientific and industrial applications of space missions. It is developed in collaboration with public and private institutions and includes an internship phase of 600–720 hours.
The Decade Collaborative Centre for Coastal Resilience supports this initiative, recognising the strategic role of satellite data and space-based observation in advancing coastal resilience. Prof. Nadia Pinardi, Director of the DCC-CR, is among the lecturers involved in the Master’s programme.
Applications close on 13 November 2025.
Courses will start in January 2026 at the Department of Physics and Astronomy “Augusto Righi”, University of Bologna.
