The Decade Collaborative Center for Coastal Resilience is proud to share that Prof. Nadia Pinardi, Director of the DCC-CR, delivered the opening keynote at the International Conference: Dialogue between Land and Sea - Challenges and Solutions,, held in Shanghai on November 20, 2024. Her keynote, titled The UN Decade of Ocean Science: Bridging Science and Societal Needs, laid the foundation for crucial discussions on how scientific progress can address global societal challenges.

Hosted at East China Normal University’s Minhang Campus, the conference convened leading experts to tackle pressing issues at the intersection of terrestrial and marine ecosystems. This significant event also highlighted the Mega-Delta Programme, a DCC-CR-affiliated initiative focused on sustainable solutions for delta regions worldwide.
