HOW TO REACH CLAN

Directions from the main train station "Bologna Centrale"

By bus

• Follow the sign for exit "Piazza Medaglie d'Oro" (city center).
• Reach the bus stop in via Indipendenza (5 min walking).
• Take bus n. 37 (frequency every ca. 15 min).
• Alternatively, take bus n. 87 (frequency every ca. 25-30 min).
• The bus stop is "Rotonda CNR".

By walking:

• The CNR Area is located just 2 km away from the main train station (Bologna Centrale).
• In the train station, follow the exit "Via Carracci".
• Once you are out of the building, walk for about 30 min by following the map.
• As there are almost no arcades along the way, walking is discouraged in case of bad weather.

By taxi:

• On exiting from the train station, follow the sign for "Via Carracci".
• You will find taxis out front. The cost to reach CNR Bologna is approximately 10 Euros.

ATTENTION: you cannot hail a taxi on the street in Bologna. You must either get a taxi at a designated taxi stand or call

By car:

• From A1 or A14 motorways, enter the beltway (tangenziale) of Bologna.
• Take exit n. 5 (Lame), direction city center.
• Follow the signs "CNR" or "Area della ricerca CNR"; drive along via Cristoforo Colombo, via Marco Polo, via Yuri Gagarin and via Piero Gobetti. The CNR area is at the end of via Gobetti (dead-end street). The distance from the exit is ca. 4 km.
