Resources are available for experimental analysis and the numerical study of fluid dynamics problems. Competences are also offered in the development of equipment, sensors and measurement systems for aerodynamics.

Turbulence

In this sector, expertise and support are offered for the study of high Reynolds number turbulent flows. Resources are available for experimental analysis and the numerical study of complex turbulent flows. Competences are also offered for the development of sensors and measurement systems for fluid dynamics.

Plasma

The skills offered by this sector concern the applications of cold plasmas for fluid dynamics control. In particular, resources are available for the modeling and the experimental analysis of cold plasmas (DBD; corona discharge). The applications concern the design and construction of plasma fluid dynamic actuators, systems for surface treatment, and methodologies for sterilization.
