Peter Teye Busumprah represented the Decade Collaborative Centre for Coastal Resilience at the 2024 All-Atlantic Ocean Research and Innovation Alliance (AAORIA) Forum, held from 7 to 10 October at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa, Canada. The forum brought together policymakers, researchers, early-career professionals, and community leaders to engage in intergenerational dialogue and promote cooperation on ocean science and innovation across the Atlantic basin.
AAORIA is a collaborative initiative that unites countries and institutions across the Atlantic Ocean in pursuit of shared ocean research priorities. The annual Forum provides a platform to showcase progress, exchange knowledge, and shape future joint actions toward sustainable and inclusive ocean science.
Peter’s participation supported the DCC-CR’s mission to advance coastal resilience through international collaboration, and to ensure that diverse regional voices—including those from early-career experts—contribute to shaping inclusive and actionable research agendas.
