The DCC for Coastal Resilience is proud to support Edgard Cabrera’s participation in the CILAC Conference Plenary Session – The Ocean Decade, taking place on December 4, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. This session will be part of the fourth edition of the CILAC Conference, the largest scientific and technological policy meeting in Latin America and the Caribbean, and will showcase the progress of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, focusing on its impact on science, policy, and technology, while exploring perspectives for the next phase of its implementation. Cabrera will contribute insights on CoastPredict, a Decade Action dedicated to advancing coastal resilience.
On December 3, Cabrera has also joined the Ocean Decade Road Map - For the Tropical Americas and Caribbean Region side event in San Andrés, where he presented his talk "Example of a Decade Action in the TAC Region – CoastPredict," emphasizing the innovative contributions of the CoastPredict initiative to this region.
