DCC-CR at ECOMONDO Exhibition: Building Coastal Resilience Together

The Decade Collaborative Center for Coastal Resilience (DCC-CR) is excited to participate in the ECOMONDO Exhibition, taking place in Rimini from November 5th to 8th, 2024. Under the theme "The Power of Science for Coastal Communities: Better Informed, Better Prepared," the DCC-CR will host a series of workshops and roundtable discussions.

Sponsored by Regione Emilia Romagna and the University of Bologna, these sessions will focus on key challenges and actions needed to build resilient coastal communities. Coastal resilience —the ability of communities, ecosystems, and infrastructure to adapt and recover from hazards like storms, flooding, and rising sea levels— is a pressing issue. How close are we to achieving this resilience? What are the regional and international actions being taken? And how can we equip future generations to tackle these challenges?
