This report summarises the results on engaging participants through polls and Q&A sessions to gather insights on coastal resilience, sea-level rise impacts, and international milestones for advancing resilience.
Key outcomes included high engagement levels, with 110 out of 124 participants actively involved, and significant participation in polls. The event highlighted strategies for supporting coastal resilience, diverse interpretations of coastal resilience, and relevant sea-level rise-induced impacts. Additionally, anticipated international milestones and contributions to strengthening multi-hazard warning systems were discussed. The outcomes of the event align closely with the objectives of the Ocean Decade and Vision 2030 white paper 6, emphasising the importance of collaboration, capacity building, and innovative strategies for enhancing ocean resilience.
