Highlights from the DCC-CR Annual Programme Committee Meeting

The first day of the DCC-CR events in Lecce was marked by a significant milestone: the official ratification of the DCC-CR Partners Alliance Network (PAN), which was formed by the DCC-CR, CMCC Foundation, and Deltares, during the Annual Programme Committee Meeting. This achievement cements a formalized structure for collaboration among leading institutions dedicated to advancing coastal resilience, fostering synergies, and aligning efforts to address global coastal challenges. With the PAN in place, DCC-CR strengthens its role as a hub for scientific cooperation, policy engagement, and capacity building.
The Programme Committee Meeting also addressed other strategic topics, including updates to the DCC-CR Strategic Workplan, the launch of a new webspace for the Alliance Network, and future actions such as training initiatives, stakeholder engagement efforts, and cross-cutting projects.
