The CMCC is pleased to announce that it will host a workshop aimed at discussing operational forecasting methods and best practices using the relocatable forecasting platform, SURF. The workshop will cover a range of topics, including limited area ocean forecasting needs, high-resolution bathymetry, surface atmospheric forcing, lateral open boundary conditions, and verification using satellite and in-situ data.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore solutions specific to the Philippines area and compare these with other sites.
