What are "digital twins" and how can they be used to benefit our lives? This workshop looks at digital twins from various perspectives.
A Digital Twin (GD) is a virtual model designed to accurately reflect a physical object or system, and its behavior. During the workshop, several GD development experiences will be presented with the aim of supporting public planning, making the management and decision-making processes of public administration more efficient, and increasing the resilience of infrastructure and territories.
Among these, DCC-CR Director Nadia Pinardi will present and discuss the case for the use of digital twins to support more resilient coasts, possible pathways and challenges.
