Professor Nadia Pinardi, Director of the Decade Collaborative Center for Coastal Resilience (DCC-CR), will participate in the upcoming Eighth Ocean Best Practices System Workshop (OBPS WSVIII). This event, held from October 14 to 18, 2024, focuses on promoting the use of best practices in operational oceanography, essential for advancing ocean data interoperability and addressing complex forecasting systems.

Nadia Pinardi will contribute to two sessions during the workshop:

  • October 15, 2024 (8:30-10:00 UTC): Panelist in the session "Ocean Forecasting in the Decade, Session 1." Moreinfo

The OBPS WSVIII aims to foster collaboration between science and technology by developing best practices that will play a key role in the Digital Twins for the Ocean era. It covers essential topics for marine conservation, ocean monitoring, and the sustainable Blue Economy.
