The present work analyzed a series of medium and small sporting events held in Romagna in order to measure its economical, social and environmental impacts. In particular, it focused on the understanding of the event organization, the required investments on the territory, the positive externalities for the destination, the opinion of sportsmen and tourists regarding the organization and the location. This study also evaluated the impact of Covid-19 on the organization and partecipation to sporting events.
