The project "SustainAbility: teaching sustainability as a cross-sectional model" was carried out in the context of our Master in "Promotion of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Management". It has been awarded as one of the best 100 projects included in the “Human Capital and Education” section of the ForumPA Challenge 2018.
The awarding occurred during the 2018 ForumPA conference “Italy 2030: how to bring Italy towards a sustainable development path” held at the “La Nuvola” Arena Convention Center in Rome.
The Atrium project was recognized as the 2018 best practice in the field of sustainable tourism at the Forum of Cultural Routes held in Sibiu (Romania). The Association and Cultural Route of Atrium (Architecture of Totalitarian Regimes of the XXth century in Europe's Urban Memory) received the award.
The award was for the best practices developed as part of the European project “Atrium Plus”, which was closed in 2019. “Atrium Plus has been appreciated for its effort in promoting a global sense of citizenship among young people starting from a critical reflection about the history of totalitarian regimes and their material traces visibles in the architecture and urban system of some cities”.
