research, third mission
Piano Strategico di Rimini and CAST led an innovative participatory process between residents and stakeholders of the boroughs of San Giuliano Mare and Rivabella in Rimini to study strenghts, weaknesses and to plan the future of these locations. The purpose of the study was the identification of a clear tourism identity of the boroughs and the planning of strategic actions. One step of this process was part of the “CAST Days” in May and December 2019; the project continued in the following years with another partecipatory experience focused on a common further reflection about the boroughs’ identity.
