European Structural Funds and Cooperation in the territory of the Adriatic Sea
This project was a review of European policies and strategies aimed at fostering Tourism as a driver for territorial cohesion. In particular, it analyzed the most relevant European programmes about the sector and the related future perspectives.
The European Structural Funds are a precious tool through which the European Union can stimulate and promote competitiveness of territories and Tourism all over the continent. They mainly focus on the development of sustainable and responsible tourism as well as on the consolidation of the idea of Europe as a cluster of destinations.
