Every year, the University of Bologna promotes projects and activities aimed at supporting the innovation of methods, tools, and processes in university teaching, with the goals of:

• improving the quality of teaching units;
• enhancing the teaching commitment of faculty members

Workshops and Teaching Activities
The training programme for faculty members and researchers is designed to convey the fundamental theoretical and methodological concepts related to the design, delivery, and assessment of teaching, while maintaining constant alignment with major transformations, including technological ones.

All activities are organised in order to create a combined programme for the professional development. All sessions aim at building practical knowledge and skills that support the continuous innovation of teaching.

Access digital resources and tools for teaching

In order to support teachers in planning and delivering teaching, the University of Bologna offers a series of tools and tutorials that show the use of digital applications for remote lessons and exams, recording lesson videos, setting up classrooms, using the whiteboard, slides and laptop, as well as the main features of Microsoft Teams.

Privacy and recordings

Secure data management in lesson and exam recordings.

Videos and images depicting students, teachers or other individuals during lessons or exam sessions fall within the category of ‘personal data’ and must be processed in accordance with the provisions of the law. To this end, a document containing practical guidelines for protecting data in lesson and exam recordings is available.
