Discover how CTL is organised and who coordinates its activities.
CTL activities are organized into three sections. Each section is coordinated by a coordinator appointed by the Rector among the University’s professors and researchers. The sections ensure constant and synergistic coordination to achieve the Centre’s objectives in the most effective way.
It organizes qualifying programmes for the training of teachers of secondary and higher schools, and it ensures the quality and sustainability of those programmes. It guarantees the functional consistency among the disciplinary sectors involved in the subject-specific teaching activities, by taking the specific requirements of each "classe di concorso" into account. It also identifies ways to share training activities—at regional or interregional level—for programmes with a low number of enrolled students, in order to ensure the efficient use of human and logistical resources.
The Teachers' Training Section includes the university professors responsible for the teaching activities within the corresponding training programmes.
Coordinator: Prof.ssa Lucia Balduzzi (https://www.unibo.it/sitoweb/lucia.balduzzi2)
It provides University professors with advice and support for their training and professional upgrade, while fostering the growth of scientific, methodological, and teaching skills aimed at enhancing the quality and innovation—also technological—of in-person and online teaching.
It contributes to the design of minors, micro-credentials, and transversal skills programmes for the student community, in collaboration with the relevant university offices.
Finally, it promotes effective teaching practices aimed at improving the learning experience, as well as students’ outcomes, and their motivation.
This section includes the Interdepartmental Teaching Committees. Each committee is represented by two delegates.
Coordinator: Prof.ssa Lucia Maini
It provides strategic advice and support for the design of study programmes and PhD programmes aligned with the student-centred approach, in collaboration with departments and the relevant administrative units.
It also promotes activities for the organizational development of teaching, addressed to programme coordinators, delegates, and department directors, aiming at improving the quality and effectiveness of academic governance.
Finally, it manages the training and professional enhancement of university teaching staff, also through mandatory courses and initiatives inspired by the 2023 ANVUR Guidelines for the recognition and enhancement of university faculty.
This section includes the Interdepartmental Teaching Committees. Each Committee is represented by two delegates.
