  • Training on topics related to mechanical design methodologies, technological processes, and design for additive manufacturing.

  • Training on software tools supporting engineering design.

 

Operational Unit 4 – Structured and/or Composite Materials for Advanced Applications

  • Training in the field of composite materials as part of the activities of the MaCoF First-Level Master’s Programme (Master Compositi Faenza), which has been active for several years in training professionals with specific expertise in composite materials, a sector with great potential and undergoing rapid development.

  • Training activities in the field of material recycling and reuse.

 

Operational Unit 5 – Virtual Prototyping and Experimental Modelling of Mechanical Systems

  • Techniques for the dynamic modelling of advanced mechanical structures and systems.

  • Techniques for measuring vibration responses and excitations, as well as advanced techniques for the processing and analysis of measured signals.

  • Advanced techniques for measuring material properties.

 

Operational Unit 6 – Chemistry and Toxicology of Materials

  • Training on the development and validation of analytical methods, including liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), capillary electrophoresis (CE), spectroscopic techniques (UV); mass spectrometry (MS); and coupled techniques (LC-MS, GC-MS).

  • Training on scientific communication and dissemination, brand creation, and the design and drafting of texts.
