Workshop with Jorge Vallego: The role of AI in Ecolinguistics

The workshop will present the H4rmony project, an initiative at the intersection of artificial intelligence and ecological linguistics that seeks to align Large Language Models (LLMs) with ecological awareness and sustainability values. Rather than focusing solely on the environmental footprint of AI (like energy or water consumption), H4rmony addresses how language models shape ecological narratives, ensuring they produce environmentally conscious, responsible, and ethical outputs.

During the Lab, Jorge Vallego (Data & AI Engineering) founder of the project, will show how all this work from an AI engineering point of view, focusing on the semantic space and embedding, engaging participants in different activities.
