CISEM- INTERUNIVERSITARY CENTRE FOR STUDIES ON LATE ANTIQUE HOUSING IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

The Interuniversitary Centre for Studies on Late Antique Housing in the Mediterranean (CISEM) aims at managing research and didactic activities concerning Late Antique housing, by promoting cultural exchanges amongst institutional members and by promoting interdisciplinary cooperation via national and international partNERS (Spain and Belgium).
The CISEM (born in 2008) aims at deepening, integrating and developing the knowledge in the fied of Late Antique housing and, in addition to that, to deal with the enhancement and fruition of archaeological sites and monuments in an interdisciplinary perspective, taking advantage of the contribution of new techonologies applied to Cultural Heritage studies.

3rd INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF CISEM

Between October 28th and October 31st 2019, the 3rd International Congress of CISEM is going to occur in Bologna (28th, 29th, 30th) and in Ravenna (31st). In this occasion themes and cases of study about Late Antique housing in the Mediterranean will be discuss. at the end, during the last day, the exposition "Abitare a Ravenna" is going to be inaugurated at the Domus dei Tappeti di Pietra (RA).
