Universities and institutes doing research in the fields of interest of the Centre can join it as members, by contacting the Director of the CISEM. Membership application is subjected to the approval of the CISEM Governing Board.

Professors and researchers working on the CISEM fields of study can also join the Centre individually.

Membership application must be compiled using the form provided (see box on the left), and then sent to the Director of the CISEM. The latter will forward it to the Scientific Council, that will rule on the matter.

There are two types of membership application:

• Ordinary members: professors and researchers belonging to the Universities and institutes associated to the CISEM, with the prior approval of each University/institute's relevant bodies;

• Associated members: indipendent researchers; the application shall be accompanied by two letters of introduction by members of the CISEM Scientific Council.

Other forms of collaboration:

• Collaborators: research assistants, scholars, PhD students and other figures with technical-scientific background in the fields of interest of the Centre, with the prior approval of the University/institute of affiliation and of the CISEM Scientific Council.
