The Research Center in Bibliography aims to develop studies in Bibliography, Bibliology, History of Books and Libraries and Library Science. It also aims to foster interdisciplinary intertwining with sciences related to the bibliographic sector, first of all with Philology, Typophilology, Archivistics and Humanistic Informatics applied to bibliographic and document sciences.
The Center promotes initiatives aimed at getting to know the world of books and libraries, such as conferences, seminars, round tables, bibliographic and documentary exhibitions, presentations of editorial news, also thanks to collaborations with Italian and European research institutions.
