The research project PRIN2017, coordinated by prof. Edoardo Roberto Barbieri (Università Cattolica, Milan), sees operational units of various universities at work: LUMSA University (prof. Patrizia Bertini Malgarini, prof. Marco Bartoli), University of Bologna (prof. Paolo Tinti) and University of Udine (prof Neil Harris).

The research also makes use of the prestigious and authoritative scientific collaboration of CERL (Consortium of European Research Libraries).

The two seminar days intend to take into consideration the theme of the circulation of books and texts (manuscripts and printed) in the major cultural centers in Italy between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, with particular attention to the central-northern area. The aspects more closely linked to the study and dissemination of printing and the new fifteenth-sixteenth century publishing "industry" will also be combined with more specific issues, relating for example to bibliographic, historical and textual approaches.
