Full Professor of International History of the Contemporary Age and History of European Integration at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, Forlì Campus.

She holds a Jean Monnet Chair ad personam in the History of European Integration and is President of the Scientific Committee of "Punto Europa" in Forlì – Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence. She is also a member of the Self-Steering Committee for European Studies of UnaEuropa, appointed by the University.

She holds a PhD in History from the European University Institute (EUI), where she also served as a Research Fellow. She has organized numerous national and international conferences and coordinated several European projects.

Her most recent books include: L’Europa e gli altri (2015); Storia dell’integrazione europea (2021); L'Europa agricola (2022). She has also co-edited: Europe between Migrations, Decolonization and Integration (2020, with Deplano and Pes); Over the Atlantic. Diplomacy and Paradiplomacy in EU and Latin America (2023, with Astroza, Oddone, and Torres Jarrin); and L’Europa si fa nelle crisi (2023, with Calandri and Paoli).
