Europa sul sofà (Europe on the Sofa)

Europa sul sofà (Europe on the Sofa) is a series of talks organised by the Punto Europa Interdepartmental Centre on European Studies. Each session brings together university professors from a range of disciplines (in particular history, economics, law, sociology, politics, and security) to talk about Europe.

The initiative was born in 2020, in the midst of the Covid-19 emergency, as an experiment with new means and modes of communication, such as conferences organised via live streaming on the Center's institutional channels. Since the end of the pandemic, the talks have taken place in person, in an informal setting, on the sofa at Bar Volume (Forlì Campus). 

Europa sul sofà is an occasion for outreach, in-depth analysis, and discussion of current issues facing the European Union.
