Floor 3 - Nanotube

The floor is divided into two units. The first unit is devoted to experiments concerning the preparation and control of solid, semi-solid and liquid pharmaceutical forms, while in the second unit experiments of physical chemistry (kinetics, thermodynamics, electrochemistry and spectroscopy) and photochemistry are performed.

In the first unit, students have at their disposal numerous manual capsule fillers, disruptor for tablets and capsules, semiautomatic capsule filler, vibrating screen, automatic tablet press, turboemulsifiers, optical microscope, oscillating mesh granulator, cylinder refiner, volumetric crusher, friabilometer and durometers.

In the second unit there are UV-Vis spectrophotometers, spectrofluorimeters, IR spectrometer, RAMAN spectrometer, NIR spectrometer, conductivity meters, calorimetric bombs, potentiostats and a vacuum line.
