Seminar: “Teaching Knowledge Across Cultures: Language, Academic Practices, and the International Classroom”

The speaker is Prof. Nilson Kunioshi, Professor of Reaction Dynamics of Materials at Waseda University (Japan) and currently Visiting Professor at the University of Bologna (DISCI). What makes his perspective particularly valuable is his rare combination of expertise: an engineer by training who also heads the language centre at his university, working at the intersection of engineering education, language, and EMI. His insights will resonate well beyond the hard sciences.
