Violence, trauma, sexuality: questioning the link between history and psychoanalysis

The seminar brings together historical research, anthropology, and psychoanalytic practice to address a crucial question that is not only relevant to the intersection of violence, sexuality, and gender relations, but also to the disciplines themselves, with their respective methodological and conceptual tools. How is it possible to investigate violence when it is so unsustainable that it is concealed, hidden, and removed in different ways by those who perpetrate it and those who suffer it? How can we investigate its indirect traces, undo the mechanisms of distortion and transformation of memory, and overcome silence?
