FAMILY STUDIES/EDUCATION

Within the field of Family Studies/Education, the main research areas concern: families’ complexity and polymorphism with respect to the contemporary social and cultural context; evolving and emerging parenting styles; theoretical and empirical approaches to support parents’ reflexivity in their daily life, as well as family-school relationship in the digital age.

Within the field of Child Studies, the main research areas concern: educational perspectives aimed at safeguarding children’s rights; the plethora of phenomena concerning children’s “adultization” and “spectacularization”; childhood representations as narrated by media in the global North; children and migration; childhood illness.
