THE RESEARCH GROUP
The Centre brings together researchers from the University of Bologna who analyse crises from diverse and complementary disciplinary perspectives. Through research, education and collaboration with institutions and organisations, the Centre contributes to the development of knowledge and expertise to address increasingly complex and interconnected crises.

WHAT WE DO
Contemporary crises – including health, environmental, economic, geopolitical, technological and social crises – require interdisciplinary expertise and new response capabilities. The Centre promotes dialogue among researchers from different fields within the social and political sciences, with the aim of advancing research excellence and fostering the transfer of knowledge to society and public institutions. The Centre’s activities include scientific research, the organisation of seminars and events, the design of educational programmes, and collaboration with public authorities, international organisations, businesses and other stakeholders engaged in crisis management, preparedness and crisis governance.
