Parsortix (Angle)

Cell separation system which allows the separation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from whole blood samples.

Parsortix is an innovative epitope-independent microfluidic device for the capture and harvest of circulating tumor cells from whole blood based on cell size and deformability

Applications of Parsortix Technology:

  • Early cancer detection and monitoring: used in liquid biopsies for identifying and tracking rare circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in various cancers such as breast, prostate, and ovarian cancer.

  • Molecular profiling: enables molecular analysis of CTCs, offering insights into tumor genetics and enabling personalized treatment plans.

  • Biomarker discovery: helps in discovering novel biomarkers by isolating CTCs from blood for genomic and proteomic studies.

  • Monitoring treatment efficacy: allows real-time monitoring of cancer treatment responses by analyzing CTCs throughout therapy.
