Teaching quality is the ability to adequately meet the expectations of all those who are interested in the learning service offered: students, families and the world of work

Teaching quality is the ability to adequately meet the expectations of all those who are interested in the learning service offered: students, families and the world of work.

Specifically, both in the University and in the Department, it involves putting in place goals, tools, actions and checks in order to implement a quality policy with the aim to continuously improve the programme catalogue.

The teaching quality system of the University of Bologna is made available to teaching innovation projects in order to assess their effectiveness and obtain feedback with a view to continuous improvement.

In designing the system, special attention was paid to enhancing existing good practices. In this way, training programmes for tenure are defined, which take place with a bottom-up process which, through teacher training, highlights and shares fruitful experiences in managing degree programmes, in all its dimensions.

Training activities are therefore offered to the members of the Quality Assurance Unit, Degree Programme Coordinators, Faculty-Student Joint Committees and all those who, for various reasons, are involved in the teaching quality assurance process of the University of Bologna.
