XXIII SIGRAV Conference
Urbino, 7-9 September 2021

First Announcement

The Italian Society of General Relativity and Gravitation announces the XXIII SIGRAV Conference, to be held in Urbino (Marche region, Italy) from 7 to 9 September 2021, hosted by the Urbino University  Carlo Bo in the beautiful setting of Palazzo Battiferri located in the historic centre of the town, an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Conference is devoted to all aspects of gravitational physics, with special regard towards new developments in theory, experiments and their interplay. Since the dawn of gravitational astronomy and with the perspective of new experiments and novel or improved ground and space observatories, we anticipate fruitful discussions about the science already made possible by gravity and about future progresses.
The congress will provide  plenary lectures and parallel sessions devoted to topical studies. Additional satellite events will include the award of the Amaldi Medal to two European scientists, who distinguished themselves in gravitational physics and the SIGRAV prize for young researchers, who carried out studies of particular interest in the field.

The scientific program will be finalized in the upcoming days.

The conference will be held in the presence, confident that in September 2021 it will already be possible to meet in Urbino. In the case of problems due to the pandemia COVID-19, we will transmit via the web talks of speakers remotely connected.
